Success story: Exchange in less than 24 hours!

Yes, you read that correctly.

Less than 24 hours after contracts were received, our buyers exchanged and were ready for completion in a week.

While this isn’t of course unknown in the property sales industry, it can be a tricky task to manage and to get over the line, ensuring all parties are happy during the often-intense process.

With this particular sale, one of our long-term landlords was looking for a quick sale of two adjoining HMO properties and asked us if any of our contacts would be interested in the purchase.

After a number of calls and negotiations on our side, we were able to put forward offers and the buyer ended up being a company who we have worked with on a number of occasions, so they were able to put their trust in our service and professionalism at Clarendons to know we would get the sale completed – and fast.

As both were eager for a quick sale, our team worked extremely hard with both the vendor and the buyer’s solicitors to ensure everything was sent over as quickly as possible and less than 24 hours after the contract was received, we had a call to confirm they were ready to exchange! The sale was then completed within seven days.

This was Clarendons’ fastest ever exchange and we had very happy vendors and buyers!

With more than 50 years' experience as a team, Clarendons is equipped to deal with the more complex sales, so please do get in touch with our sales team today to find out how we can help you.
